At A Touch of Class Adult Care, the safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority. We welcome families and loved ones to visit and encourage regular connection. Please review our visiting guidelines below to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.

Purpose
It is our goal to ensure that both our Residents and Visitors are safe during visitation.
Policy
A Touch of Class #1 Adult Care LLC ALF is open for visitation only when there is no confirmed or suspected Infectious or Communicable Disease. This restriction does not apply to compassionate care or essential visitors.
A. Resident Rights
Residents have the right, subject to their consent, to receive visitors they designate — including a spouse, family member, or friend — and to have consensual physical contact with those visitors.
B. Right to Withdraw Consent
Residents have the right to withdraw or deny consent to visitation at any time.

The facility may require a visitor to agree in writing to this policy and reserves the right to suspend a visitor for disruptive behavior, risk to patient safety, infection risk, or the patient’s need for rest or privacy.
F. Responsibility
The Administrator or Designee of A Touch of Class #1 Adult Care LLC ALF is responsible for ensuring staff adhere to all visitation policies and procedures.
Essential caregivers are designated by the resident or their legal representative. By designating an essential caregiver, the following is understood and consented to:
Families wishing to designate an essential caregiver may complete and return the form below to our staff.
Communicable Disease — Visitor Restrictions
Any person who is infected with, showing symptoms of, or has had close contact with a communicable disease is prohibited from visiting until cleared by their healthcare practitioner. This includes persons from communities with confirmed community spread as identified by the CDC or state public health agencies. A 14-day restriction applies.
Prevention Measures
To protect our residents and staff, we ask all visitors to practice the following:
Infection Control Procedures
Our staff follow strict infection control protocols including universal precautions, proper PPE use and disposal, handwashing between residents, glove changes between residents, and bio-hazardous waste disposal. Food handling, laundry, and housekeeping all follow documented protocols reviewed regularly by the Administrator or a licensed Nurse.
